EyeBot Junior
Introduction
In this project we want to build an EyeBot Jr., a controller for mobile robots that has been developed by the Electrical Engineering Faculty of UWA. It can be used for robots with wheels, walking robots or flying robots. It allows us to write powerful robot control programs without a big and heavy computer system and without having to sacrifice vision - the most important sensor.
The EyeBot Jr. consists of a powerful PICAXE board with a graphics display and many connectors for Actuators and Sensors. The software can control motors and servos of connected devices.
Features:
- Ideal basis for controlling robots and devices
- Graphics display (LCD)
- 4 Servos and 4 Motors controllable
- Can be extended with own mechanics and sensors to full mobile robot
- Programmable in BASIC
- Remote controlled via the build in infrared sensor
